99.9% are interested in OxygenBasic. Charles and me.
This is a strong result and shouts for a big feast of the chosen few.
An ocean of flowers will us the way to the feast pointing.
Thank you all.

At the moment, yes Peter. You guys understand lower level programming for example much more than me. And although I started to work in oxygen with some classes, I had too many questions that I think were because I jumped in too soon. Oxygen is in Alpha and actively being developed and redesigned. I think Charles has the time now to develop and try out ideas and you are there to test and challenge. I think my time and others to contribute will be when oxygen is a release version or perhaps a beta version.

I agree with Kent. It's moving way too fast for me at present.

Yes this is true, Oxygen Basic site is an evergreen road works. :D

The core language has changed little in the past few months. It's just the occasional syntax glitch. I spend much of my time improving the internals and checking the more extreme cases.
The more code that gets written to test oxygen at this stage the better!

I would like to see FireFly converted to OxygenBasic. That would be a good test of the compiler. A GUI designer would be nice.

Hi JRS,
I would like to see FireFly converted to OxygenBasic.
Firefly is an animal that glows in the blackness. Is a little beetle
I like this glowing. My ailment is Nyctophobia.
I wonder me, why has Charles Fireflies ?
German = Leuchtkäfer or Glühwürmchen.

Take simply red Led's and you will have time.
Light-emitting diodes are good for Abasic :D :D

FireFly Visual Designer (http://www.freebasiccompiler.com/)
Note: Example project built and compiled with FreeBasic under Wine on Ubuntu 11.04 64 bit.
Sorry, no interest in porting FF to any other language. I can barely
handle the PB version at this point in my life.
