Title: This coming month, iffy internet for me

I will be at a location on and off this month with iffy internet, so I might not be able to get on for a couple days at time. Just wanted you guys to know I wasn't ignoring you :)

My AT&T Mobile Hotspot Elevate 4G arrived today. Something like this may have come in handy for your trip and made four of your friends happy at the same time.

I'll have to see if 4G is available where I am going. It might an idea if it is. My rooted phone should now have a hotspot, but my initial tests didn't work. So I never looked into it more. At least something to do. Thanks for reminding me.

My laptop is an old POS wih 3G WIFI speeds. The AT&T Mobile Hotspot Elevate 4G allows me to use it as a USB modem giving me the higher broadband speeds. (while still serving up a 4G WIFI hotspot for 4 other users)

Life is good ...

Wow those are the fastest speeds I have ever seen from anyone I know!!!

I got rooted cell phone to work as hotspot. No 4G only 3G, but when you see speedtest results, I don't think it is 3G, but at least I can get on the with it, but very slow.
