a) thanks for the example, peter I will check your example this afternoon. I am at work ;) I have set the cursur for closing with my tabcontrol close example.

b) and I liked your example with the button to place lines or rectangles, cubes in win api scene and clearing it all :)

I guess I know where the wind is blowing from. ;D

Thanks for the sample of course and believe me I also tried to jump out of my pants to be the best guy on the block. But the sad news is the best and 100% foolproof solution (http://www.thinbasic.com/community/showthread.php?t=12313&p=90636&viewfull=1#post90636) for a multi-windowed application, where multiple windows can be popped up at random using your keyboard while your cursor is still hidden in the main window, has been already discovered by other people before you and me.
