Just checking to see if the upgrade of the forum has disabled posting. Is everyone asleep?

Yes fast asleep :)

That looks flyable to me.
You could be the Charles Lindbergh of UFO's in an OpenGL world. ;D
-
It's moveable anyway. There are quite a large number of source code dependencies being edited so I will just post the binaries here.

Please excuse the poor video recording.
Outstanding work Charles. Can I put in an order for a real one of these?
The above 32 bit example was run under Wine on Ubuntu 64 bit. I tried the 64 bit version of the saucer demo and got the following error.

Something to do with freeing OLE strings. We will have to devise much simpler tests to isolate the problem. But there's no problem running on native Windows 64. (Vista)
Adding pop-up console for flight control:

Charles,
It may be a ways down the road but if you get to the point of enabling UFO skins, this is attractive.

Skins are ideal for fixed forms. Well polished machines :)
I'm currently working on texture and terrain synthesis:

UFO's exploring alien worlds sounds like a great idea for a game. The Hubble library could be a great source .
-
Yes it could be. Some nice galaxies and nebulae.
