Windows 10 TP

Hello community,

This message comes from under my 32-bit Windows 10 Technical Preview installed successfully into a VMware Workstation 10 virtual machine under my 64-bit Windows 7 host.

The virtual machine settings for installation were chosen as 32-bit Windows 8 with 2.5GB of memory and a 4 core processor. Installation ran smoothly and took around 10 minutes to complete. Then VMware Tools were installed in a usual manner, which allowed my host to communicate with the guest via a shared folder and common text and image clipboard. File dragging and dropping between the host and guest is fully functional as well and the guest can now track the current screen resolution of the host automatically.

The environment appears as Spartan as that of Windows 8/8.1 though the start button and menu can indeed be found again at where they should've been all this time. Apart from that, the only new feature I've spotted so far is the desktop switch button that's located in close proximity to the start button.

I'm not planning any compatibility tests for tonight but I will keep you informed of my findings as I progress with my explorations later.
