No foolishness intended!

Are there any other inauspicious dates to avoid, like friday 13th? :)

Hint: Any month that starts on a Sunday will have a Friday 13th.

It's funny the type of responses I get here on the forum about Script BASIC. You would think I'm posting GW-BASIC code examples. I post these SB examples as working  concepts to problems faced here using the Windows API with a simulated BASIC wrapper.

Please leave your bitterness at the door. There is enough of it going around with the other BASIC forums.

What you're doing is called spam. In any other forum, you will be banned for it. As we can't ban you in this forum, I guess that the only solution is to no post here anymore.

When Microsoft uses VB to explain how something works in one of there other languages, it's spam? I swear your're Zales's ghost.

John, I think Jose has a point. When someone asks for help with something, but you offer help with something else,
it is of no help, it is distracting. Nobody hates SB here, at least that's what i think, but the way you are promoting it
can eventually lead people to hate not only SB but also the way you indroduce it.

I remember that one day you said that you would keep SB posts in the SB forms, so, it is understandable that some
forum members are feeling frustrated that you don't.

I personally do not have anything against you or SB :), but i think it would be better to reply with what people is
interested in getting help with. The medicine is not bad, but we all would make faces in disgust when we receive it
while expecting something else.

Please dont scare people away, OxygenBasic has a great future and we are already very short of good elements.

Jose is a great asset that im sure Charles (nor I) can afford to lose. His great input will certainly help to bring a great
language back to life, and if you scare people from here, the only option will be to go to his forums instead... Don't lock
your self out.

Dont worry, we will eventually work on SB by ourselves, if we dont end up having enough of it. :) You already did the
job of letting us know that SB has potential.

@Jose do it as a favor to me if possible, keep posting here at least until we see what happens. Blame it on me.

Fine.

Let's not have any mention of FreeBasic, PowerBasic or references to unofficial docs on a PB repository. I suggest we get started on the wall.

I want to know if there is still something here for me. If not, i will leave as well.

Does that mean PluriBASIC is not welcome here anymore?

I'm one of your biggest advocates, my posts have made that obvious. There are members here that can't leave their past at the grave site where it belongs.

 And i appreciate it John.

What i said was not an attack against you or SB. What i said was an attempt to help you realize what your
good intentions are being interpreted as. Yet you reply with something ironically bitter, since you asked to
leave bitterness out.

Please dont get it wrong. I just hate to see what others may be thinking about the whole thing, yet, you dont
get a clue. Trust me, im not patronizing you. I can be very direct when i want to, but in this case, I still can see
a chance for everybody to remain colleagues.

Are you going to let it happen, or destroy everything?

BASIC programmers are inherently lazy due to the goals of the language. I don't mind collaborating with lazy bright programmers that don't have an ego problem.
