My interest is merging two outstanding BASIC languages. Ease of use with access to ASM and C extensions when appropriate is the goal.

I think that John is only interested in O2 as a tool to enhance SB. Notice that he only posts SB code, never O2 code. He only wants skilled programmers, not novices, but skilled programmers are already using other languages and tools and it is very hard to convince them to switch.

I have NEVER seen one line of O2 code coming from you José.

I don't modify Linux kernel code but use the OS as my default. DLLC is Charles's creation and is maintained by him. I only use it and provide testing.

And probably you will never see it, at least in this forum. I registered only because Charles said that he was going to release the first beta version. Without it and, above all, good documentation, I'm not going to do anything. But you say that you want to promote O2, a language that you don't use (using a DLL written in O2 to enhance SB does not qualify you as an O2 programmer; otherwise, I could say that I'm a C++ programmer because I use C++ DLLs) and your only "apportation" is to kick out every novice that has the audacity of posting. It should be Charles, not you, who will decide if he wants to spend his time with these novices or not and he has clearly said several times, against your wishes, that he welcomes them. Charles is not your prisonner.

These members left the O2 forum on their own free will. If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen.

If you're not willing to invest in O2 due to its infancy, why do you throw newbies over the cliff promoting they use it?

You mentioned I have been ban from other forums. I don't participate in anything where I'm forced to walk on my knees.

After being menaced and mocked.

You have been banned in other forums for behaving like a troll and spamming them with posts about ScriptBasic, like you're doing here. Anyone interested can do a search for "ScriptBasic" in, e.g. the FreeBasic forum.

I'm neither promoting, nor advising against its use. I have a great respect for Charles since many years ago and I'm interested in what he does.

If you had any idea what an open source project is about, you wouldn't be making these ridiculous remarks. Your problem is you've been a Zale zombie for so long and bitter all your work was for nothing that you're looking for someone else to blame.

My efforts work and continue to show promise.

John,

Your efforts may work but only as long as you have an audience to perform in front of. You're very near losing it here for good.

I could have banned your "John" self for at least a month for what you've been doing here in recent 48 hours. But your other self will undoubtedly roll back my action and thus nullify its educative potential. So, if you don't stop your SB spam and never-ending harshness towards your fellow forumers, you will see me go. This place is becoming too stifling, Oxygen or whatever.

So if any of the other spammers like EZGUI, Brian's BASIC or anyone else trying to utilize O2's JIT features will be ban as well?

Please inform me what I'm doing and others aren't.

EZGUI is a potential user of O2 and Brian is an actual user of O2, and both have a professional interest in it. Other forum members like Peter, or Aurel, or Roland, or I have at least a hobbyist interest in O2 and do some occasional programming in it.

Script BASIC has no direct relation to OxygenBasic yet it is the second major "subject" on this site -- though of course not in its every topic, as some of the shorter-lived passers-by used to claim here before going away to flood somebody else's forums. Lack of self-discipline is what all the ban candidates usually share.

Amazing, simply amazing! It was John who asked for a free copy of EZGUI, who started the EZGUI thread and who keeps asking Chris if he has given up...

No direct connection?

I have been working with Charles for years refining DLLC. Charles has a huge investment of his time in SB.

If I'm not wanted here, I have plenty of other things to do.
