Thanks Peter.

Just one issue: When the game window is closed (top right) or alt-F4 the window disappears but the game continues running in the background.

Hi Peter,

I think it's the WM_CLOSE message.

Also, have you tried using RTL32.inc ? Then you would not need to include Oxygen.dll with each game. The binary would be self-sufficient.

Why openGL ?  ???
if on this way work fine...
From what i see i think that few openGL examples  not work properly on
my xp computers. However if someone prefer to use openGL then use it.
I think that for 2d is quite enough to use standard BitBlitter api.

OpenGl is not easy to set up, but once you have a system working, and you know some geometry, it is not so bad, and you are in the mainstream of computer graphics technology.

Peter, My great great Grandfather Dr Charles Pegge (born.~1834) used to run an asylum. Unfortunately he and his institution are no longer with us, otherwise we could have arranged an advanced booking. My speciality is in creating madness. ;D
