Friendly advice...
« on: May 13, 2015, 02:18:10 AM »
Yes it is...
Charles you know that i like o2 very much and i have learned many great things
BUT
some weird things and crucial bugs must be fixed .
it becomes really bad when we run into similar problems again and again.
with each new release something not work properly ...
so...please
fix all problems with standard string operation as best as you can...
and please
stop with adding some new features when old bugs are present..

i hope that i don't say something insulting or wrong

all best Aurel

Making general statements that O2 is broken without posting code examples providing proof is a waste of everyones time taking you seriously.

That's my Friendly Advice.

Really
And then explain to me ...
how is possible that one crappy interpreter like qb64 is more stable and more popular
than oxygen Basic...
I can BET that some of older versions of o2 is more stable than few newer.
I really want to see Oxgen as stable basic-like compiler .

Everyone else here posts offending code when they discover it. It's normally how open source projects work. You don't go to the doctor crying and refuse to tell them what's wrong or let them touch you.
