This really doesn't fit here There really should be TOOL topic but .....

Instructions for using KetilO's RadAsm3 with OxygenBasic.
Here is the discussion topic on Hutch's Masm32 site: http://www.masm32.com/board/index.php?topic=14100.0

This is the link to RadAsm3
https://fbedit.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/fbedit/RadASM30/Release/RadASM.zip

I have include this very handy utility, LinkRes2Exe, in the zip but the source is available here:
http://basic-compiler.com/download/index.php?dir=&file=LinkRes2Exe.zip

I have also included Jeremy Gordons resource compiler GoRc.
Install RadAsm3.
Unzip O2BasRadAsm.Zip to your RadAsm3 directory.
Read the Readme.txt file

Kaspersky is only reporting a worm on the chatter example. Who would of thought building a kick ass Basic (JIT) compiler would upset AVs so much. Where is Gandalf when you need him?  :(

Hi Kent,

Welcome aboard!

I wondered whether these AntiViruses were sensitive to file size so I submitted one of the larger test programs, ManualCreate  (28k) and it passed all the tests except for JiangMin which reported "Worm.Warezov.ph".

No complaints from the usual Avira and Kaspersky

James,

Whenever the manual is generated, ManualCreate also produces wordlists automatically which can be used in IDES for syntax highlighting. It would be very easy to produce a customised list in the correct format for RadAsm. Scit is a little more complicated but I intend to get this plugged in for automatic updates shortly.

Charles, I am using Avira and it showed 2 files as viruses. I forgot which ones, sorry should have written which ones they were.
I will do a scan again this weekend and see if it catches any from the latest download before I do the scan and report back then.

Yes Avira seems to be the most trigger-happy er .. I mean sensitive :). I rewrote the compilers in Freebasic exo2 and gxo2  to get past Avira and Kaspersky. I don't think they like small executables.
