The forum(s) have been dead so if you're not, chime in and let us know you're okay.

Like Charles I feel distracted. And like many others I am struggling with the aftermath of the corona pandemic. I belong to the risk group and that is why I stopped smoking. It is now day 19, my smoking cough seems to be gone, my sense of smell and taste seem to have improved, and yet I feel uncomfortable. I have to keep pushing myself over and over again in order not to buy cigarettes. My psychological difficulties are much greater than my physiological problems.

I'm about to take on that battle myself. $100 for a carton for cigarettes is my limit.

I usually check the forums daily (Oxygen, thinBasic, FreeBasic, Basic4GL etc) but I'm currently working 5 nights a week in a large supermarket and rarely have any spare time. I'm either working or sleeping. :-D

A hero on the front lines. Stay safe and keep your distance from everyone else.

Our prime minister, Boris Johnson, has just been moved to intensive care, after a week of apparently mild symtoms of this virus.

Charles,

Groundhog day for me. I'm still dealing with the last pandemic that almost killed Athena. Recovery is long and painful if you survive the ICU.

He is on Oxygen but has not required a ventilator so far.

I think getting plenty of sleep, and taking vit D supplements (if short of sunlight) will help keep our immune systems optimised.

I sure hope Brian is okay. His website URL has expired.

http://www.pluribasic.com

No resent posts on the PB forum which is where Brian was seeking financial support for his BASIC translator.
